A Voice from the Inside: Creating the Future

From the blog, Living in a Pefect World

Life’s passing moments, abstract as some may be, seem so final. I guess that is natural for us to see them in this way. After all, we are only human. Most of us are lead around by our feelings. We are pawns, controlled by our perceptions at the most superficial level. We seek to take hold of and sustain control over any and everything we come into contact with. We do so because we view this world as if it were our own and with such great effort exerted to accomplish this task when our plan faulters with change, we suffer.
We do not see the truth of our surroundings. We do not see that change itself is the nature of our world and that nothing is final, not even death. Along with any ending, something else is born– a new beginning. These passing moments are so much more than they seem. They are not fixed. They are the effect of the causes that have come before them and at the time of their passing they will be the cause of the moments that have yet to come. This moment, born of the past, will ripple into the future. It will resonate outward in the form of an ever-widening ring which — in its’ own due time– will effect the whole of existence.
We hold this great power over the future and with great power comes great responsibility. Everything we creat our children will have to endure. The things that we say and do will take on a life of their own and our actions will carry over indefinitely into the sea of endless tomorrows.
We must see each passing moment, not as another stepping stone toward the acquisition of our own selfish concerns, but as another chance to make a difference. As another chance to lend a helping hand to our fellow man, to lift them up in their time of need, and to be a light for each person who has remained huddeled in teh darkness for far too long. I will do my part to move swiftly down this path with compassion and wisdom brightly shining in my heart,. And I can only hope and pray that you will do the say
Jeheshua.
