Freedom of Choice Greenwich Ombre Jeans Make Legs Look Longer with More Comfortable Fit & Fabric!

Talking to Jeantherapy via Twitter, I was curious about someone “rocking” Hudson Jeans–what style, wash etc. I commented that I was wearing Freedom of Choice’s Greenwich Ombre Skinny jeans in grey to black ombre wash.
Here’s a picture from the Freedom of Choice website:

Now that’s not me in that photo above. I *wish* I had legs that long. I had to tailor the hem because it was pretty long for my rather petite frame (short is what I really mean).
Here’s what I love about these jeans:
1) Super-soft fabric that feels less like denim and more like fabric.
2) They are super comfortable– like leggings. (even with tights because it’s so freaking cold — yeah yeah .. it’s LA, people!! I am a California girl. I love warm weather– cold is not exactly in my vocabulary)
3) A great fit and they didn’t require any other adjustments — they fit amazingly well.
4) Even with some hemming the ombre look was not diminished:

Here’s a close-up of the ombre effect.

Note that the black is really dark and blends right into my short, flat booties.
Also a note on styling this outfit; don’t just go straight black up and down. Pop the ombre effect by wearing a bright contrasting color. People will notice the ombre effect more because of it. Also if you want to really get into heels or sandals, wear fishnets under the jeans and roll up the cuffs a touch so you have a bare ankle look. Don’t roll up too much or it will cut off the ombre effect. This effect really makes us shorter girls look taller with legs that are miles longer. (we like that!)
Love love love these jeans. They feel like leggings. I haven’t been so comfortable in jeans. These would rival the Seven gummy jeans and actually have a bit more cache because of the ombre effect. Now if Nathan would just do these in other colors or reverse the ombre effect…… (grin)
