Paleta Cleanse Day #3: a Breakthrough Day of How Food Is Viewed and Consumed.

It’s day 3 of the Paleta Cleanse and finally getting into the swing of it. Of course by this time I have had 6 shakes over the 2 days and they do fill you up. They provide small packets of cinnamon or chocolate that you can add to the shakes to give them some flavor intensity. I added a touch more tart cherry juice and a couple of blackberries to increase the roughage and anti-oxidant factors.

By now it’s a count-down for me and I am looking forward to eating more of their meals. I used some of the celery or carrots and things as snacks. Celery and other specific vegetables are considered “free” foods. Essentially the point of this diet isn’t to lose weight– it’s to give your liver a break from all the chemicals and acidic foods you eat that through off the pH of your body. By eating less meat (and that includes chicken, fish, eggs and any sort of meat) and focusing on non-acidic foods along with that shake, it gives your liver a break to clear out, rest and do a better job of detoxing your blood so that your skin, hair, body and mind actually look and function better.

No, quite the opposite. By slowly eliminating certain foods from your body and replacing

WILL I LOSE WEIGHT ON THE CLEANSE?

It is different for each person, but most lose between 5-10 lbs. But that is just the beginning,
because by cleansing, you have set your body up for success. Since the liver beaks down fat,
many people who have done the CLEANSE find it easier to lose more weight going forward.


HOW DOES THE CLEANSE TASTE?
