Cocktails for the Day AFTER a Super -Steamy, Super -Hot Labor Day Weekend!

Here in California, it has been a maddening 10 days of crazy weather! High temperatures were scorching California residents up and down the coast from Napa to San Diego and beyond. The humidity would not die and the stickiness factor made the weather and the week nearly unbearable. The interior had it worse with hot temps along with thunder storms.
It looks like the weather might have changed today. For the first day in almost 2 weeks, the weather was about 80 degrees (in my back yard). The fragile whisper of a breeze cooled it off even more. I know others had it even worse across the US.

While the weather shifted in a major way here in Los Angeles about 3 PM today, it seemed to me that these cocktails would be a great refresher tomorrow night- the first full working day after Labor Day.

The cocktails featured below should be pretty easy to whip up and they will be REALLY yummy! They feature light textures and fruit flavors which will fit in perfectly to the post-Labor Day “readjustment” period we will all have to deal with !

  1. These are really good cocktail recipes. I personally like “Wet Hot American Summer Ale-tail” the most but I have my own twist to it, I put a couple of olives to it and then its perfect.
