If you have ‘followed’ me or read my blog for any length of time, you know that I have a great fondness for music. Call it an obsession but I listen to music often and my big problem often is that I crank it up too loud at my desk so headphones are required. (Headphones also prevent me from answering questions that come up when I am busy because I don’t hear that person.). I love to cover diverse types of music so you can find a lot of different podcasts and/or reviews on various artists and their CDs on my blog.
One reggae star that hit my radar recently. This musician is getting a lot of attention here in the US and is on the rise worldwide! Great news music lovers, reggae star Mighty Mystic announced new dates for a U.S. tour for Winter 2018. The tour kicks off this February 1, 2018 in Hampton Beach, NH. The list of added new dates and shows in major cities include MA, ME, OH, IN, CO, TX, AZ, NV, and CA.
This new tour follows Mighty Mystic’s recent live performance at the Rebel Salute, the biggest reggae festival in Jamaica with thousands of people in attendance. Mighty Mystic will be performing live on tour with his third album, The Art of Balance, and the preceding album, Concrete World which debuted on the Billboard Reggae Chart at number six. This tour will also feature his breakout album, Wake Up World as well with his standout singles “Here I am” with Shaggy and “Rems Up” with roots rocker Lutan Fyah. All three albums reached the Billboard Top 10 Reggae Chart.
