It’s a summer and now that it’s June, it’s about time for scheduling up some summer parties, get togethers and even just small gatherings for a casual cocktail and schmooze time.
What makes these events more fun and encourages people to show up is if you have gotten “creative” in the cocktail department. While the guys might not get into all of these cocktails, the ladies sure will! Over the coming weeks, you will see a series of great drink recipes pop up and you can choose which ones you want to test drive at your next soiree– whether it’s big or just the two of you.
If it’s girl time, snag a couple of great dvds and make a fun party witth this cute but tasty cocktail called the Pink, White & Blue , featuring the p.i.n.k. vodka. This is perfect for a girl-party as well as the Fourth of July bash that might be on your calendar!!
This is an ultra decadent, incredibly delicious and All-American, “PINK, WHITE AND BLUE” cocktail!
Here’s how you make it…
2 oz of p.i.n.k. vodka,
1 scoop vanilla ice cream,
1 oz strawberry liqueur,
large dollop of fresh whip cream
1 plump blueberry.
Combine, p.i. n.k., strawberry liqueur and ice cream in a blender with one scoop of crushed iced and blend until creamy.
Pour into a glass of your choice .(David choose a martini glass, think a great wine glass would do well too)
Top with whipped cream and a blueberry on top.
With this fun, tasty and very patriotic looking summer cocktail. I would recommend making this concoction by the pitcher as all your friends will want in on the action. To do this just take the recipe and multiply it by the number of cocktails you need to make — and maybe add a couple extra portions in there too. !
