I was offered a chance to visit a hair salon/spa that I had not heard of– until I did a bit of reasearch and heard about this “unsung” celebrity stylist who has celebrity clients because he’s not seeking the spotlight as much as he is about doing fabulous hair– and that he does in spades!
From the moment I walked into the serenity of JF Beverly Hills aka Juan Florentino, Beverly Hills, I knew I was somewhere different. The vibe was low-key but electric. It’s a stellar salon lead by a very creative, detailed and precise stylist, Juan Florentino himself.
What I loved about the Juan Florentino salon when I walked in was the architectural detail that went into this place. It’s astonishingly open yet you still have a sense of privacy. Juan went about carving up this space so that there no one area has a lot of people plus with open sealings and beams, there is an airy feeling.
Looking back towards the door and front desk.
Juan Florentino talks about his salon, my hair, taking care of your hair and the import of deep conditioning.
I went in for a color/highlights and Juan really talked to me and listened to what I liked and didn’t like about my hair. He suggested a sunnier California blonde. Not so ashy but sunny golden with more highlights and brighter pieces around my face. “LOVE IT”!!!
Looking for special hair products to take home to duplicate the style you got while in the salon? Check out everything in this photo. There’s an Italian line that’s amazing! Davines is on the short list as well as Kerastase and other cool product lines.
One of the 2 private rooms that allow a VIP or yourself to have a quiet respite from the rest of the salon. The entire space is extremely peaceful.
Some of the cool art work in the salon.

You won’t be sorry you went there. The time and effort he and his staff put into making your hair perfect is amazing and you will be thrilled with the results. I am!
