Sheri Forrest is a long-time friend and beauty junkie. We are enableers– and we co-enable each other. When she tells me about an amazing product, I wind up buying it. She’s awesome– and a terrific make-up artist with whom I have worked many a photo-shoot and video project. Recently she mentioned to me about this great product she had picked up from Bliss Spa and how well it worked, I asked her to write it up– after she had a bit more time playing with it. This is Sheri’s review!
I have to be honest. I have this….thing under my jawline. I prefer to think of it as a little pudge, but I guess if you want to be unkind you could call it a double chin. I try to ignore it but it sneaks up in photographs and makes me unhappy.
Recently, I purchased a wonderful crème made by Bliss Spa called Thinny Thin Chin. I didn’t really think it would get rid of my pudge, but I figured it might tighten it up a little and would at least moisturize the area. Basically I just bought it for the fun name – I was having a bad week and wanted to treat myself.
To my amazement, this crème actually works!!! Immediately. I put it on, rubbed it in and happened to look in the mirror a few minutes later – the pudge had disappeared! On closer inspection, it was still technically there, but tucked up and away – this crème really does tighten up the chin/neck area and reduce the appearance of sagging and pudginess. I looked again at the bottle and it did promise immediate results. Of course, applying twice a day only improved the firming effect. Then I read that it can be applied to the neck and bustline as well…..hmmm, this really has potential!
Thinny Thin Chin!
It has a lovely light pink grapefruit scent, and a only a small amount is needed to produce the desired effect. I have very sensitive skin but I didn’t experience any irritation at all. Of course, it can’t actually remove a double chin, but it can make it livable. Only cutting down on Haagen-Dazs Dulce de Leche ice cream or getting liposuction will really get rid of my pudge, but this is a much more pleasant alternative. I’m actually looking forward to my next photograph!
Thinny Thin Chin is available online at blissworld.com and sephora.com and scentmonkey.com .
Thank you to Sheri Forrest for being a willing guinea pig and fab writer (that part I already knew!! She used to work with me on two other online magazines). She’s pretty strict in her standards and when she says a product works, it really does!!
