Music Bytes: The Kin Hits LA Hard with a Slew of Performance Dates!

If you are a regular reader of this blog or are a fan of The Kin (Thorald & Isaac Koren)– or both– you will know who they are: Austrailian brothers who hit NY like a ton of bricks with their indie/alt vibe that goes beyond that genre into something unique and very philosophical as well as intelligent. This is music taken to the next level– and maybe even further. Having written about them in over 18 posts including podcasts, videos and personal discussions, this band hits my “must-see” list.

They are here in town working out of 4 venues (one is invitation only however– sigh!). The Kin will be previewing some of the newest material (new CD is coming entitled ‘The Kin: Rondo Sessions’. ) so you don’t want to miss this chance to catch The Kin on this quick hit through LA and maybe catch them in a couple of venues– particularly nice for Sunday, Monday and Wednesday!
