Yosh Han has been creating fragrances since 1994. For her, it was a calling– a genuine spirtual journey that she has made and continues on that path in creating fragrances. Rather than give you a synopsis of Yosh’s background, history, and philosophy which you can find on her site, I am going to let you explore her website and let you dive right into the podcast that I did with Yosh at the end of 2010. While this was supposed to run for the holdiays, it seemed for some reason a better reason to wait when fragrance was less overwhelming and the need for fragrance — particularly given the incredible weather experienced by most of the US — to let this podcast unfold and blossom in late winter/early spring. So it blooms now, just in time for Valentine’s Day. The point is that you would give someone the gift of either their choice of Yosh’s current scents or allow Yosh to do a custom blending. Either makes a genuine gift of love and admiration — whether for a man or for a woman.

The key point of the podcast is about the trend and growth of niche fragrances in the beauty market; how and why they are so unique and valuable. Yosh was kind enough to give me a REALLY substantial amount of her time.

a lush floral of narcissus, Roman chamomile, osmanthus and boronia; dark flirtatious notes of cedar and frankincense, pinches of hay, dill, tumeric and ylang ylang.
The blend of what “kismet” would always be– a destiny fragrance with enough going on to keep you around.

Notes: Kenya lily, white ginger
Floral meets spicey ginger with a clean feel.
White Flower:

white flowers with a powdery texture with a touch of Pettitgrain and Siberian Fir for a uniquely green finish.
Rich white flowers with a powder and mixed with greens for a unique scent that’s for those who want a surprise at the end.

Notes:
Pomegranate, aloe vera, cucumber, pear, water lily
Fruit & vegetal influences with a tweak of waterlily floral and clean aloe vera. Love the bright fruits, clean vegetable scents with a hint of flora.
