For those not in LA or So. CA., one of the major freeway arteries that takes you through So. CA is closing down for a 3.5 days in both directions at a critical juncture that takes you from LA into the San Fernando Valley.
Here in LA, we call it “car-mageddon– a complete shut-down of the west side of LA from the 10 freeway to the 101 freeway and basically unless you hit Pacific Coast Highway or drive across to downtown to connect to the 110 which can connect you to the 5 freeway or the 101 freeway , you are not getting out of town. It sounds confusing right? It is for most of us but those of us who use these freeways regularly know that the best thing to do is avoid going anywhere near the 10 freeway. (That wipes out my hair appointment at TINT and also Dino Clark Blu for a color and a cut. SIGH).
However there is a healing salve to this event here in LA– courtesy of Madison boutiques in all locations– just for that weekend 7/16-17.
