I am not a fan of reality TV. The only show I watch (and I don’t initiate it) is Pawnstars. However the Kardashian family has even managed to hit this blog a few times and while I don’t mind covering their fashion line for Sears, I wasn’t a huge fan of the wedding extravaganza being auctioned off to the highest paying brands for promotional consideration. So was it any big surprise that this nearly 2 million dollar wedding of Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian didn’t last even the length of time of the engagement (72 days vs 85 days)?
Maybe not so much to those watching from the real sidelines– and who realize that reality TV is still scripted and that reality TV is not real life.
We have renowned sex and marriage therapist Dr. Limor Blockman (as heard on Mancow and Playboy Radio) to provide expert commentary on the deterioration of the marriage to the point of Kim filing for divorce without clearly informing Kris and he found out that she had filed by the TMZ photographers. I mistakenly stated in the podcast below that Dr. Blockman was based in Beverly Hills. She is based in Miami and is a noted therapist in her field.
