This is part 2 of the Official Grammy Gifting Lounge post and this one is primarily photos of who was there — both vendors and celebrities!
Distinctive Assets— the company who put creating amazing gifting bags and suites on the map – gave new meaning to the comment that celebrities are like kids in a candy store when they visit a gift lounge. The legendary show’s presenters and performers were treated to fabulous “thank you” gifts in acknowledgment of their participation…all within a gift lounge decorated to look like an actual candyland gift oasis.
“To be part of Music’s Biggest Night on any level is as thrilling today as it was thirteen years ago when we created the first ever GRAMMY Gift Bag,” says Distinctive Assets’ founder Lash Fary. “We always look forward to introducing talent to an array of companies with great gifts to share . . . ranging from up-and-comers to tried-and-true brands celebrities already love.”

In case you think I walked away with a serious bag of swag– nope! I did get a take-away cup from Pepsi so I could drink my expresso and Pepsi.. which was quite good. I never even got to see the candy or chocolate– which as you know I am seriously into artisanal chocolate– but this suite gave me new things to check out! It was getting crazy-busy as I left so I couldn’t talk to Red Carpet Manicure, the candy people or the auto products people. I will say that the Gibson and KRK products were intensely interesting and I spent a great deal of time talking to the people from those two brands (and DJ Sparks too) about the evolution of the music industry. Do check out the Simone I Smith jewelry collection– it’s amazing! Some of the best jewelry I have seen lately.
Thank you to Distinctive Assets for inviting me to the Official Grammy Gifting Lounge. It was exceptionally interesting to learn about new products I hadn’t seen before.
