Does Buy Brand or Generic Make a Difference in Beauty or Personal Care?

This video is from me! I am all about saving a buck and not paying retail. If you knew how I shave $$ from grocery bills as well as clothing and personal care purchases, you would realize that it’s wise to check out buying generic or house brands from supermarkets, mass merchandise stores and drugstores. However when that retail is the same as paying for a generic that doesn’t work versus paying for a brand on sale– and the brand functions better, give me the brand!

Case in point: Sonicare E series toothbrush heads. ‘

Watch the video to see why the brand wins hands down!

I now wish I had not tossed the box so fast. I usually keep boxes for any kind of product (electronics etc) for about a week (or two) before making a bank shot off the rim of the trash can. This time I didn’t– and if I had the box (and I still have the receipt,) I would be taking the brushes back to get my $$ back and buying the brand.

Brand isn’t always the best or the cheapest, but sometimes you find out that buying brand makes a significant difference in function.
