Superstar Britney Spears (superstar and Britney Spears seems superfluous doesn’t it? Everyone knows Britney) caused an internet uproar as she posed for a photo shoot wearing a $20,000 sports bra by BodyRock designer Kelly Dooley.
With and 18K gold zipper and diamond-eyed skull tassel, this sports bra was created to be worn by a mega-star (i.e., Britney fits this to a T.) Britney showcased her much heralded dance moves in the video shoot for “Twister Dance”, boldly displaying this one-of-a kind luxe item in a way that shouts “Britney’s got game!”

What is Twister Dance?“Twister Dance” prompts users to place their feet on LED colored spots that move around to the beat of the music. The star is the new face of the DVD-based dance and party game offering 40 dance lessons of varying levels of intensity for up to four players. There’s no denying Britney’s presence: the pairing of this power item and power-player/dancer proved that Britney’s back– big time.
Spears tweeted, “Couldn’t be happier with the Twister Dance video shoot! It’s gonna be so hot,” when filming wrapped.
“Dancing has been such an important part of my life since I was a little girl, as soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun!” says the pop icon.
Moto Leggings
What does this have to do with fashion? Everything! Not everyone can afford the real deal sport bra top but trust me, i you snag a Body Rock top and “bedazzle” or sequin it to suit your personal style and pair it with these killer Moto Leggings, you won’t get Britney’s level of attention but YOU WILL get noticed!
Born and raised in the heat of Southern California, CEO and designer of BodyRock, Kelly Dooley, has always had the knack for being active. In March 2009, Kelly was tired of trying to find the perfect sports bra that was functional and stylish. From her frustrations, she created BodyRock – an innovative line of active wear that successfully blends fitness and fashion together in a practical way. The inventive line of active wear is constructed for stylish women who don’t want to sacrifice fashion for fitness. BodyRock is ideal for women who want their gym clothes to be ultra chic and wearable in the everyday world. With the summer months quickly approaching, BodyRock is not afraid to use bold pops of color, floral prints, and fun layering pieces for the active fashionista.
The designs feature fitted four-way stretch crops with chic cargo pockets, studded lycra-blend sports bras, ruched metallic spandex, and fashion forward athletic biker jackets.
Not only are they fashionable, but functional as well with built-in Ipod pockets, zippered compartments, and tagless labels for that added extra comfort. BodyRock is produced with the highest quality spandex and nylon, Swarovski crystals and studs, and is manufactured in New York City – a proud American producer!
Got to love this line! Yes it’s going to be a little pricey but when you figure the function of street wear + the function of fitness in ONE garment and then being able to strut your stuff wearing comfortable yet extremely fashionable clothing that truly goes from day into night- from lifting weights or spinning in the AM to busting moves on the dance floor in the evening– well it’s serious clothing that does triple duty. You are saving big bucks because you will always be wearing something. Also some of the jackets would do it for edgey work-gear as well.
BodyRock captures that effortlessly cool downtown vibe with uptown notes of luxury and style, enabling you to go from workout to dinner with ease. BodyRock features bras that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also purposeful for every woman. Kelly feels grateful to be able to create a collection that encourages and prides women to feel positive, comfortable, sexy, and stylish when they are active and on the go. Each piece in the collection is designed and named after an empowered woman from cancer survivors to Greek goddesses. The line is more then just clothing for yoganistas and triathlon babes, it was made with soul.
Designer Kelly Dooley says “Bodyrockers are those women who walk into a room and electrify it with their confidence. Be that woman.”
