50 Shades of Grey: Why It Doesn’t Work for Some Readers & Authors

50 Shades of Grey has gotten a notorious amount of press, buzz — and to be honest, HYPE! While Dr. Drew didn’t think too much of it, many have said the 50 pages he read wasn’t nearly enough .

Dr. Drew talks about the book here and why he doesn’t feel that it’s good literature and it’s a lengthy video.

While Dr. Drew didn’t get past the 50 pages, clearly others have– including Nikki Joel/LifestyleLemonaid.com who was featured earlier in the week. As you can see on her site and Dr. Drew’s site, there is a difference of opinion. Even Judith Regan puts her own thoughts into it.

I spoke with author/blogger Lindsley Lowell about this book and we went off on a bit of a tear about this book– on a podcast no less. It was quite a discussion– and it seems a lot longer than the 20 minutes that it is.

I gave up on 50 Shades. I went to better written however the plot fell apart and I am very PICKY about plot-lines. Given my stack of books to read, MJ ROSE will be so much better because she has a great plot line. No erotica but that’s ok.
