frilly lilly this a new venture in the US but an established chain of “feminine boutiques specialize in waxing, manicures and pedicures along wtih signature bath and body care products and full range of jewelry and accessories”
This chain has been around since 2005 and recently opened up in Santa Monica, Ca on Montana Avenue next door to “Shabby Chic” so parking isn’t quite so much an issue and you will have time to get whatever services at this small boutique where it’s pretty much waxing only because of the size of the space (no nail services here at this time). The boutique does carry the range of personal care products which are amazing, effective, and have lush scents!
Given that frilly lilly has five other locations in Canada, Debra Van Dyke , the founder of this fabulous chain, has curated a great eye for accessories and jewelry that are spot on-trend (or a touch ahead of it) at wonderously affordable price points. Got to love that!
Thanks to the Frilly Lilly people– including Stephanie who did my brows while I was there. (Nicely done too!) Love this adorable little store. It’s just fun to hang out and shop. The jewelry assortment is really well-priced and so killer that I wanted to do some serious indulgent shopping– but I (regretfully) refrained- mostly because of the people coming into the store.
If you are in So. California and would like to find out what dry waxing is for yourself– which is causes minimal pain compared to the other stripping type, (ouch!), please come visit frilly lilly in Santa Monica!! You won’t be disappointed!
PS.. You can now do online shopping for their products! I would highly recommend their body products, their nail & cuticle cream is awesome and anything else that strikes your fancy!
