Winter makes you long for spring days and with the magazines (and online) pushing spring colors and fashion at you, it’s pretty hard NOT to want to buy some things NOW. However part of the beauty of waiting, is that some things might be on sale by the time you could actually wear them –providing they haven’t sold out.
That said, here are some shoes and boots that you might want to check out now because they are so colorful and/or unusual!!
Chiquita boot immediately caught my attention. It would catch ANYONE’s attention and would be ideal with shorts during the sumnmer (yes.. that’s right summer) as well as into fall. Talk about a real investment– this is it.
A great flat/ballerina shoe that will work with solids and even prints. PERFECT For summer! Black/navy or multi-color
Boots will be hot year-round– except on the beach– and yet there are times in the right shorts or flirty dress they would be ideal.
Sendra:
Almost 100 years of history has marked the course pf Sendra’s success. Over this 100 years encompassing the experience of four generations (founder of the firm Andres Sendra to his great-grandson Francisco Javier Sendra), the current CEO has employed more than 170 specialists in boot fashion, design and manufacturing.
Hard-edge glamour with notes of Americana and Western detailing features metal grommets, a buffed leather and polished buckles.
Pricepoints range from $150 to $500; size range availability: 5 to 11 and available for purchase at www.sendra.com or fine department stores including Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom. (Better hurry. These boots will go fast– especially since I found at least 3 pairs I want)
Modern Vice’s *NEW* VINTAGE EDITION “Benni” and “Jett” booties!
The model/style blogger of Natalie Off Duty and the Creative Director of Adoni Group Inc. met a year and a half ago at a social media event and bonded over their love of vintage fashion, music and art. Since then, Natalie has become the unofficial muse for Modern Vice- a collection of men’s and women’s shoes created by Jordan and his brother Jensen Adoni.
The brand Modern Vice launched a couple of new styles inspired by the romance between Jordan Adoni and Natalie Suarez.
Here are the two latest designs!
The Benni— this one runs about $325 MSRP! Colors and leathers determine price is the lower loafer/oxford style. The Jett is the taller, buckled boot
These two designer/lovers can usually be found at the Adoni factory in the heart of New York’s Garment District- the only full production footwear facility in Manhattan that produces hundreds of pairs of shoes each day, entirely on US soil. Modern Vice is available online, as well as at fine retailers including American Rag, Cloak & Dagger, Oak, Rand + Statler and Tanni for $250 – $1,495.

So Pendleton. This is a very Arizona..in fact, Tucson Rodeo look. I approve.
My wife would love those Valerina flats… if they had all-leather soles and were one fifth the price. 😉
I love the valerina flats…really cute
