Let’s celebrate our moms this Mother’s Day with original art cards.

Funding ends: Apr 25, 2013After years of missing my mom (I lost her when I was in college) I finally thought of a fun way to remember her…and help you and everyone else celebrate your moms. I am calling my project “The Dora Project” after my mom. My mom’s name, Dora, actually means gift, so this is a perfect fit!
1. You can choose to have the card sent directly to your mom, or you can choose to have it sent to you (along with an envelope) so you can address the card yourself. If you would like it sent directly to your mom, I will gladly include a message of 180 characters or less inside the card.
2. Please note, these are examples of the cards…each card is made by hand and signed. There are no two cards that are exactly the same. The card your mom receives will be one of a kind!
We always enjoyed wonderful vacations together at the beach and I know these times were special to my mom and all of us.
This one is pretty simple: my mom loved flowers! Can you believe it?
Last of all: fashion. My mom loved fashion as well, so that makes number three.
For $45, I am offering to send a frame with the card as well, so your mom has a great way of presenting the card after Mother’s Day. If you select this reward, you’ll be able to choose which design you like at the conclusion of the project.
The Dora Project is my way of sharing the memory of my mom through my art. The funds raised will be used to buying art supplies and postage. Any excess funding will go towards future art projects.

The risk here is that I get MILLIONS of supporters loving their moms and I am on a serious time crunch! Should that happen, I have back up staff. I want your mom to have her very best Mother’s Day ever!
