A new survey by 3M TEKK Protection finds that DIYers aren’t as safe as they could be while working on home improvement projects. According to the survey:
–Last year alone, more than one-third (36%) of DIYers have been injured or suffered a side effect while working on a home improvement project.
–Close to four in five (78%) of these injured folks were not wearing protective gear on their body part that was hurt.
— Over three in four (77%) have skipped wearing all recommended protective gear during DIY work they’ve done in the past.
