How many people want to have Google Glass? According to a recent LA Times article, 10 thousand people have picked up the $1500 price tag and not flinched when they put down their plastic to be one of the first few to test drive it out. Considering it was ONLY available in the US in 3 cities (New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco) I would say that made for some interesting choices. When I heard from Aging Backward’s Jackie Silver that she had a a pair of Google Glass… I was hot to get her on the phone to talk about the entire experience at the point of about 2 weeks post pick-up.
Recently she had been on the radio talking to Jim Scott, 700WLW, The Morning Show regarding Google Glass.
I had a list of questions and rather than just email them to her, I thought it would be better to do a podcast (phone interview) about this with Jackie Silver because I knew it would be something that would be more than the sum of these questions!!
Here are the questions about Google Glass:

What are Google Glass?
What is it like?
How much do they cost?
What do they do?
How easy to use them?

What can she do with them?
What can’t she do with them?

Jackie talked about the Javitz Center meeting of someone who was fascinated by her Google Glass and he took her card. Later he used her as an example of innovation and being ahead of the curve in social media and innovative trends. Here’s the tweet that he ran!

How is that for branding? It doesn’t get any better than this for Google Glass or Jackie Silver or the man who talked to her that day and used her in his talk. Everyone wins on this. The “wow” factor is enough alone!

This is so cool to hear first hand how it feels. I think I will like it, but am not sure.
at $1500 you would need to be sure you would use it.
lol Stevie, you said it all! 🙂
