FRAGments is/was an an indie, artisanal and underground event that pulled together spectacular brands from the West Coast and beyond! This event happened on 6/22 in the Highland Park in the San Fernando Valley in a cool little gallery of more than just wall art, but 3-D art displays as well. As one of the hottest days that spring, it was an intoxicating event.
It’s time for another podcast of 2 people from the FRAGment’s event: this time we have Shannon representing Eau de Yosh and Lisa Fong from Artemesia Natural Perfumes. This was an amazing event and this is the way for you to partake in the event without spending a ton of money!

Podcast with Shannon who was working with Yosh Han/ Eau de Yosh and Lisa Fong, Artemesia Parfums
Lisa Fong of Artemesia Natural Parfums was next on my list! With an array of scents that are truly amazing and addictive. I think Lisa and I were having a great chat and it was interesting to have everyone be so open to giving me insight into their brands, their philosophy about making fragrances and in general their perspective of fragrances trends. It’s fascinating to hear everyone talk about it!
Lisa featured these 4 fragrances:
Ondine
“Essences of narcissus and myrrh and sweet kewda attar relax the senses and unlock memories of river, lake and pond”
Drifting Sparks
“Sensual musk, with notes of orange blossoms, turkish rose, harshingar, and gentle jasmine. complex base of ambergris, oud, black current, and angelica root creates a warm rich musk. The true fragrance of pleasure.”
Saveur de l’Abricot
“Most of what we perceive as flavor is actually scent. With the fruity-floral richness of Chinese osmanthus and real apricot essence, Saveur de l’Abricot is an impressionistic fragrance capturing the sensuality of eating an apricot”.
Golden Hour
The fragrance of Golden Hour eau de parfum creates an aura of serene beauty. Creamy tuberose, vanilla, and cognac emerge from initial leafy notes of night queen and galbanum, enveloping the body in warm incandescence.
(sounds yummy right? )
Each one of Lisa Fong’s scent is a natural composition– an etude in fragrance form– involving natural notes that are really spectacular and show off her ability to create lush, rich scents that give you a lot more bang for your buck!
