It’s Halloween! — and time for a party or at the very least a great cocktail. Here are a couple recipes that DiSaronno sent me. Take my tips on the tweaks and let me know what you think! It should be a spook-tacular weekend! Keep ir light, honest and full of Halloween spirits- both the liquid and not so liquid kind!
Pumpkin Patch- Tini (also called the Calabaza-Tini)
Ingredients:
1 oz. Bols pumpkin smash liqueur
½ oz. hazelnut liqueur
½ oz. high proof rum (Prichard’s Private Stock Aged Rum (90 Proof), Old Monk Rum Mount Gay Eclipse Silver , Clarke’s Court Superior Light )
½ oz. gold rum (think about Gosling’s Gold Rum , Ron Anejo Botran Solera or any of the gold ones listed above!)
2 oz. ice cream base
Pinch of cinnamon sugar
Cinnamon sugar rim
Preparation:
Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass rimmed with cinnamon and sugar.
The Pumpkin Ridge Sour
Ingredients:
2 oz. Bourbon (want an Irish vibe? Try Jamieson! Want a US vibe, try Jack Daniels Honey! How about a really unique trick and let’s try a White Pike Whiskey~!!)
.75 oz. DISARONNO
.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
.5 oz. egg white
Teaspoon of pumpkin butter
3 dashes of Angostura Bitters
Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.

Very similar to the pumpkin pie martini I went into last year..it had Baileys and goldschlagger instead of ice cream and rum..yum!!
