When looking for inspiration for holiday hair, it’s easy to want to look like your fave or most glam celebs on the red carpet. When asking how to achieve those looks, you go to the a great stylist and a great salon. I contacted Kaz Amor the managing partner of the Los Angeles branch of the celeb -fave salon: Warren-Tricomi. He was able to have one of his most capable stylists give me tips on how to talk about the hot trends for holiday hair and recommend products that work well for achieving those styles. The line that we worked with is Kaz Amor’s own hair line: VOCE! I have talked to him about the line a couple of times. I have reviewed product and bought products too! LOVE it!!
Jennifer Audeon, a top stylist at Warren-Tricomi Los Angeles, put the below together for you. I have also attached corresponding VoCe products she mentions.
Red carpets are most commonly filled with classic beauties and timeless styles, although every year there are the few left turns that go down in history as the awards seasons worst looks. I’m going to show you a couple images of some of the best award show hair over the past couple of years (that I’ve seen becoming more and more popular) and how to achieve these glamorous styles using VoCe styling products.
Wearing your hair down is always a popular choice for awards or any day/night event, it’s simple, and always the most feminine. Gwyneth Paltrow’s do is the type that never goes out of style.
To start wash your hair (preferably the night before your event) with VoCe Lift Me Shampoo and Conditioner.
Blowdry with height and body after using VoCe Volume Mist.
Once your hair is dry take vertical sections with a curling iron (1 1/2+ inch) using larger sections of hair curling away from the face. This should take approximately 20 minutes to curl. Once you’ve completed curling your hair, flip your head upside down and shake it out with your fingers.
While your head is in the upside down position spray some VoCe Surf Mist in to add hold and texture. Now with your head in the upright position run your fingers through any out of place strands and your look is completed.
Taylor Swift
Grecian hair has been making its way in and out of magazines the past couple of years, and is never a bad choice. It also looks great the day after you’ve slept on it when it gets messy.
If your looking to achieve this look or a look similar to it, start by washing your hair with VoCe Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. You want to use a nice hydrating shampoo because a curling iron can be very drying. Before blow drying spray in VoCe Leave In Conditioner.
With a 1 inch or smaller curling iron, take 1 inch or smaller strands of hair and wrap your hair around the curling iron. Be sure you have clean sections to achieve a structured look such as the one on Taylor Swift. This can be fairly time consuming, especially for beginners, do give yourself 45 minutes to curl.
Once you’ve completed curling your hair you can twist the front pieces and pin in the back for a half up half down look, or you can add some braids to give it a little extra. Whichever you decide, finish off your look with VoCe Hold me hairspray and be on your way!
Emma Stone
What would an award show be without the elegant hair to go with the elegant event? Updo’s are becoming more and more rare as people modernize and frankly have much less time on their hands. But, an updo is the most classy of hair styles.
A look like this one will take about 1 hour to complete. To begin use VoCe Smooth Me Shampoo and Conditioner.
Before blow drying add in VoCe Smooth Me Cream.
Blow dry as smooth as possible with a round brush. Once your look is completed go through your hair with a 1 1/4 inch iron (just about any size will do) and loosely curl the hair to give it some bounce.
Section off your hair front to back (all the hair in front of the ears and then all the hair in back of the ears). Backcomb the hair at the crown (top) of the head, to add height.
Using a bristle brush, brush your hair into a smooth pony tail. Wrap your pony tail into a bun securing it with bobby pins. Feel free to keep it smooth or make it messy, buns look good in any form.Once your bun is in place, take the hair in the front combing it back, covering any lines from sectioning your hair and then pinning it either behind the bun, or incorporating it into your bun. After your finished lock it in place with VoCe Hold Me Hairspray. Remember, don’t drive with the windows down!
Thanks to Jennifer Audeon and Kaz Amor for these really meticulous hair styling tips and the products anyone would need to complete these three looks! I think the instructions Jennifer Audeon provides are spot on!! Don’t forget to try out the VOCE Haircare products! They rock!

I wish I had hair that *did* something. Or failing that, at least a hollywood hairdresser!
