SuperBowl is on our radar here at LA-Story.com. While we might not adore football the way some do, we do love watching the commercials. There have been years when that’s the only reason why I watched the game. The other reason to watch the SuperBowl is either to go to a bar or restaurant for the game but that can get crazy– in terms of noise and cost! (I like my visits to restaurants to not be mixed with football games.) I would rather cook up some interesting food and watch the game’s commercials. I have some great recipes that I am going to share with you for incredible game-day cuisine– courtesy of Busha Browne!

BUSHA BROWNE JERK CHICKEN BREASTS RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 to 2 teaspoons of margarine

BB_Jerk-Seasoning-Rub_4oz

3 to 4 tablespoons of Busha Browne Jerk Seasoning Rub or

BB_Spicy-Jerk-Sauce_6oz

Spicy Jerk Sauce

PREPARATION:
Wash and pat dry chicken breasts. Rub a thin coating of margarine over the chicken breast.
Using fingers, work the Busha Browne jerk seasoning rub or Busha Browne spicy jerk sauce into each breast. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. The longer the more spicy it will be. Prepare grill (gas or charcoal) for medium heat. Grease cooking grate to prevent sticking and place chicken on grill. Grill until done, inside temperature at 160 to 175. The chicken will have a nice blackened outside, but tender on the inside. Enjoy!

BUSHA BROWNE BURNED ORANGE MARMALADE WITH WHISKEY COCKTAIL

Ingredients:

• 2 ounces Bourbon Whiskey (Buy a top notch whiskey! Don’t bother trying to save money on the whiskey. It’s one of two crucial ingredients in the entire cocktail!)

• 1 heaping 1/2 teaspoon of Busha Browne Burned Orange Marmalade

• 2 pinches numeg

• splash of filtered water

Method:
Add the Busha Browne Burned Orange Marmalade and water to glass with a pinch of nutmeg.
Stir into paste. Add whiskey and cracked ice, and stir.
Top with another pinch of nutmeg.
The Busha Browne Burned Orange Marmalade will settle, so serve with a spoon or stirrer. Enjoy!

  1. I would use many of these in my vegetarian kitchen. Although it goes with meat, these go well with all kinds of foods, like rice and soups. Fun to experiment with new flavor profiles.
