Often a reader will send me questions on how to deal with “________________”(fill in the blank). These questions are generally either very specific to them or general ones about best ways to deal with a problem or answering a quesiton. The general ones often are sources of blog post inspiration for me. When I got the following tips as a suggested blog from a PR Firm, I was really interested in sharing them. While the questions might not be as applicable immediately, it’s worth keeping the answers or checking out the products or services from that specific expert.
I would like to thank
celebrity hair-stylist Ricardo Rojas,
celebrity fitness guru and author, David Kirsch
celebrity brow expert and Wink Beauty Bar founder, Umbreen Sheikh
for their informative and useful tips.

Question:
Whether it’s summer or late fall or winter get-away to someplace super-sunny, you want hair that requires little work with hairdryers and other tools.
What kind of products to get the oil out and what kind of style can a person try to do that doesn’t require as much time with a dryer but time out in the sun perhaps?
Ricardo Rojas’ Answer:
Always rinse your hair after you jump in the pool. Chlorine is not great for blondes and other gorgeous tones. Make sure to use a quality oil (not Moroccan oil): something like Leonor Greyl oil, or coconut oil, as long as it is natural.
Stevie’s Note:
(Leonor Greyl has 3 different oils: Huile Magnolia, Huile Secret de Beauté and Huile de Leonor Greyl. If you don’t want to buy the regular size, you can buy a travel size for $20-ish! If you want to try a different brand, make sure it’s a high quality oil)
Fall Trend Tips from Ricardo Rojas(Clients: Amber Heard, Hailey Baldwin, Eva Longoria)
This fall we will definitely see a lot of texture and natural hair. Curly, natural waves are in and the texture lets your hair be free no matter the length. It’s great to work the curls with a diffuser or even just a towel dry and some mousse and then you’re good to go!

Question:
What kind of snacks would he recommend that could be purchased on the fly– rather than heading to a fast food place, what could/should they buy at a small market?
David Kirsch’s Answer:
Eating one slice of whole grain bread, an apple or some berries isn’t the end of the world. Instead, be careful which items you choose!Don’t eat fruits higher in sugar, like bananas
David Kirsch’s Guidelines
Never use the word diet. It’s a four-letter word that often leads to temptation, cheating, and failure.
Rather, you need to approach your nutrition –the foods and drinks you consume– in a more healthy way. Eat frequent small, healthful meals, and you will metabolize our food more efficiently leading you to have more energy.

Question:
Can one use a pencil as well to fill in the sparse gaps to give brows more of a look of hairs rather than solid powder or does powder do enough perhaps using two shades?
Umbreen Sheikh Answers:
If you have no defined brow, pencil is an option (although I prefer our brow extensions!). In this case, remember to use very light mini strokes to create the brow and not a line. Also build up the brow slowly.
Thanks to these great experts for their fabulous tips!

The hair oil is a good idea. I imagine the magnolia must be fun to wear. I would use it in the steam room. As for snacking, I am not afraid of bananas…there are much worse choices to be made…
