Halloween Spending is down 9% from 2015
Of those dressing up in a Halloween Costume this year:
Will make their costume 39% (Down 2.5% from 2015)
Will buy their costume at a physical store 24% (Up 9% from 2015)
Will buy their costume online 21% (Up 10.5% from 2015)
Wear a costume they already own – 16% Down 11% from 2015)
Those purchasing costumes this year is up 10%

59% of millennials say they will spend money on Halloween versus 31% of their older counterparts.

19% of pet owners will buy their pet a Halloween Costume. This trend is unchanged from 2015.
