There are holidays when everything goes right. Then there are holidays like this year….. where a great many things went awry– and it’s a lot more than getting caught in a rain-storm or having to park at the farthest point of a mall parking lot to get to the mall. While it’s easy enough to buy gift cards, you might want to take it a step beyond a gift card– unless you know for sure the person wants to do their own shopping. Here are a few suggestions of specific items or lines that are worth sharing via a gift card and/or stores that are definitely a must explore.. for specific items
For the Guys:
Celebrity favorite brand, Montez Renault has a fantastic array of men’s grooming products. With celeb fans like Neil Patrick Harris, Ethan Hawke, Al Roker, Justin Baldoni, and Leonardo DiCaprio using this brand, but also basketball star, Kevin Durant among other sports figures are also using this line! The brand’s philosophy is simple yet refreshing: for the well-groomed man, anything is possible. Men who look good and feel good can be empowered to do good.
Christopher Renault Butler and Karlos Montez Dansby, Montez Renault Founders!
Montez Renault, an award-winning grooming collection of hair, body and skincare products crafted from the highest quality, organic, and all-natural ingredients and based in sound science. Founded by former college football teammates and men’s grooming-club entrepreneurs Karlos Montez Dansby (NFL Linebacker for Cincinnati Bengals) and Christopher Renault Butler, Montez Renault set out to elevate men’s grooming essentials crafted from a scientific, health-centered approach.
Their Story
While men’s football locker rooms aren’t usually classified as the hot bed of grooming, two passionate athletes did a complete career 180 when deciding they would take their skills from the football field to the beauty bar. Former college football teammates, NFL linebacker Karlos Dansby, and Chris Butler had previously started a successful spa experience with Butler’s Grooming Club in Birmingham, Alabama- a place where men could get all their grooming needs met within the ultimate man-cave. Offering services such as facials, massages, waxes, haircuts, shaves, and “male versions” of the mani-pedi, they then re-located to a Saks Fifth Avenue location in 2012, helping them triple their revenue to nearly $600,000.
The array of products is pretty substantial:
Jojoba Smoothing Scrub:
Facial Cleanser
Facial Moisturizer,
Shaving Cream
Shampoo
Conditioner
Body Lotion
Body Wash
Worth trying these products out. I was sent several products for my guy to test drive. He is still in process but he pretty much likes everything in the line– which – for him– is pretty unusual. He’s pretty much not into body lotions, scrubs or moisturizers– but he’s using those products in this line. I think that’s a pretty good endorsement for this line. He likes some of the products that have some tea-tree tingle!
Since I am the girl in this equation, that’s the best I can do in terms of a review. MY guy likes the brand. I like that it smells clean and fresh. That’s a huge plus!!
