The Harlem Globetrotters are getting ready to kick-off their world-wide tour. They are currently in the Bay Area (California) preparing for games from January 14-22. The Globetrotters then hit So. California in February that includes games at Staples Center!
At an arena that sees incredible basketball shots on a regular basis by Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors, Harlem Globetrotters star, Buckets Blakes took his game to the next level. Buckets made a shot off the roof of Oracle Arena to a hoop positioned over 100-feet below and 100-feet out.
Heads Up:
At the end of the video, Buckets’ teammate Scooter Christensen told the “Splash Brothers” ,it’s now their shot and proceeded to sing Steph’s famous pregame song featuring the lyrics, “Jones Barbeque and Foot Massage.”
— Scooter joined Steph for his pregame routine at a Warriors game last season
— Buckets is one of the best trick shot artists in the world. He recently made a 583-foot basket in San Antonio (below)
and made shots at Alcatraz last year.
GAME INFO:
For the first time in basketball history, the Globetrotters have a 4-point line. It is located 30-feet from the hoop.
