HBO®’s InsecureSM Takes over West Hollywood’s The Den on Sunset in Celebration of Digital Download Release
Happy Hour Event to Include Photo Booth, Soundtrack Spins and Signature Cocktails Themed to Hit HBO Series
What:
To toast to the Digital Download release of Season 1 of the hit HBO series Insecure, HBO is taking over West Hollywood’s The Den on Sunset to provide
–a special Happy Hour menu with series-themed cocktails,
–tracks from the official RCA Records soundtrack Music from the HBO Original Series Insecure,
–some fun AF photo booth opportunities.
The menu will feature the following drinks:
—Bish Please
Raspberry Vodka, Simple syrup, fresh lemon and lime juice, dash of cherry syrup, topped with seltzer. Served in a rocks glass and garnished with two maraschino cherries.
—Boozy AF
Tequila, house made grapefruit simple syrup, grapefruit soda. Served in a tumbler and garnished with a fresh grapefruit wedge.
—Insecuri-tea
Bourbon, Sweet tea vodka, fresh orange juice. Shaken and strained in a Martini glass and garnished with orange peel zest.
The first 20 people to order an Insecure-style drink will receive a free digital copy of Insecure: Season One and the complete soundtrack.
Created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, the comedy series Insecure explores the black female experience. Rae stars as Issa and Yvonne Orji stars as Molly. Over the course of the season, Issa attempts to figure out what she wants out of life and how to take control of it, while fumbling her way through this journey. Molly, a corporate attorney who appears to have everything together professionally, struggles inside as she looks for external ways to fix her life.
