Don’t Let the LA Marathon Keep You from Having GREAT Food! 3 Places You Can Visit!

This year’s L.A. Marathon on Sunday, March 19 has stumped many people trying to figure out the best go-to spots along the marathon course, whether you’re running the race or cheering from the sidelines. There is no better time to take advantage of some of LA’s best places to energize before runners hit the road, or to indulge and celebrate after the race’s completion rather than during the city’s biggest race.

As the beginning of the course runs through Downtown LA,
Wild Living Foods is a must go-to spot pre- or post-race. Wild’s remedy bar Marathon elixir supports performance and recovery, specifically helping to increase circulation and endurance, as well as decrease inflammation, for those in need of an energy boost. The ingredients in the Marathon elixir help to increase energy, then specifically target the areas that need support in the recovery process – so, runners and spectators can start and end the race off the right way, at Wild Living Foods.

These great flavors will have you forgetting there ever was a race to begin with. The Venice scoop shop (1357 Abbot Kinney Blvd) is right around the corner from the course finish line, so you won’t have to travel far for that post-race ice cream reward.

And for those looking for the ultimate carb-loading experience, Via Veneto’s stomping grounds are right in Santa Monica.
