Coachella is an interesting event. People spend a lot of time planning Coachella out– right down to the clothing, beauty gear and little things (battery chargers) that they take with them. However despite that most will have packed more than they needed, clearly some things were left at home as well as some items really were not part of the anticipatory mental packing list. By the way, this goes for the guys too!
Disclosure: I was provided some products (not all) for this review/round-up. It makes it a lot easier to tell you about a brand honestly when I have a product to test!
This post doesn’t deal with Coachella except as the afterthought of people who went to the desert for the weekend or for the day and realized that they needed a couple, a few things or a lot more “stuff” than what made it into the bag stashed in the trunk. This post is the “A-ha!” moment or afterthought from several people I talked to about their experience at these weekend events. Based on their comments and feedback, I have curated a list of products or things you need to take with you- just to have on hand. This post will not be the entire list: no one I know wants to read a post that has 25 (or more) items listed. I am breaking this up into a couple of posts so that each post is a fast, easy read and you can add these great items to your shopping or wish list.
Skincare:
Dermalogica is a well-known skincare brand. Some of their newest products are great for summer 2017 and particularly helpful for those heading to Stagecoach or other music festivals.

Hair
It’s easy showing up with great hair but after 3 days of a music festival, your hair might not look so great! What you need is a brand you can depend on and that you can pack in an effort to “travel light’ yet (and this is essential)- you have consistently great hair that doesn’t always require washing every day!
Iles Formula:

Liquid Dust by Unite 4.0 oz For use on wet or dry hair, Liquid Dust provides volume with or without heat. The texture spray activates and re-activates with each touch or brush throughout the day. The spray uses silica silylate to add texture, volume and body to the hair.
Here’s my version: this is a spray in product that will act fast. It takes almost no time to give you volume and texture. Section out your hair and apply very lightly, then play with that section to get the look. Then move on to the next section. If you spray all of your hair at one time, you can’t begin to move fast enough. You don’t need a lot to get the look. I have very fine hair that never holds a look- until this product fell into my hands. If it works for me, it will work for you!
