This is Coachella Rehab #2! It’s all about some great products and tools that will help you survive the summer heat and humidity in style. Scroll on down!
From Phillip B! (Haircare)
Maui Wowie Volumizing & Thickening Beach Mist
Ultra-light spray gives hair sexy volume and shiny, piecey, tousled waves (plus a beachy scent that will make you feel like you are tropics-bound!).
The mist is both texturizer and conditioning treatment in one and is loaded with botanical moisturizers that will boost volume (Blend of Sea Salt and Aloe Vera creates gorgeous lift) and give you that piece-y look.
pure Orchid and Kukui oils impart a healthy, voluptuous feel
Infused with sexy, mood-boosting notes of pure Coconut and Tahitian Gardenia; perfect for your late-afternoon revival kit!
Paraben & phthalate free; color & keratin-treatment safe
(I have tried this product. For someone with not so fine textured hair, it’s amazing. If you have fine textured hair, it’s a case of less is more!)
Russian Amber Imperial Dry Shampoo
This is the latest line extension of the Russian Amber Imperial Shampoo, the dry shampoo version. The scent is fabulous (I have smelled it, not used it)
Create serious volume without sacrificing shine while refreshing tired, unwashed hair. Removes product build-up and delivers a glossy finish and volume.
Doubles as a hair perfume with warm, sensuous notes of Pure Russian Amber
Paraben free; color & keratin-treatment safe (I have not tried this product)
Oud Royal Thermal Protection Spray
Weightless, time-release hair perfume builds sexy texture, enhances shine and protects against damage from heated styling tools.
Apply as a pre-styling primer to elevate shine and prevent breakage and split ends.
Strengthens hair with a mix of botanical hydrators (Safflower Oleosomes, Mongongo Oil, Vitamin E and Sweet Almond Oil) and potent L-Amino Acid complex and amino acids and condition it with botanical hydrators so light and tiny that they’ll never weigh your hair down. Sweet Blue Lupine Peptides offer superior color hold to keep color from fading or turning.
Light, seductive notes of Oud, encapsulated in tiny safflower oleosomes, gradually release over time for a lingering, follow-me scent.
Detangles and shields hair from the scorch of hot styling tools. Creates an invisible, weightless shield against the sun, chlorine and salt water.
(I have not tried this product)
Polish off your look—this versatile styling creme delivers weightless shine to all hair types as it tames frizz, smoothes flyaways and protects for heat styling. It smells ridiculously good.
The products on this page will work on any type of hair. The trick is to know when to use each one and definitely not all of them at one time or even two of them at one time. One at a time and realize there is build-up over the long haul. I have tried Maui Wowie hair mist and I liked it but it didn’t give my super-fine hair much lift. That’s my problem, not the product’s problem. The Blandi product works exceptionally well on curly hair. It controls frizz without a lot of weight – providing you don’t use too much. This is a “less is more” product.
Skincare tools:
Exfolia and Expeel Cleansing/Exfoliating cloths! You can buy these exfoliating cloths together as a pack (save $$) or separately. They are two similar but different cloths!
Exfolia is the one that’s most well-known and most frequently purchased. The green Exfolia is a textured 9 inch square cloth is for exfoliation of your face and body skin. Exfolia should be WET when you use it – particularly if you use it on your face. You wash this with soap (bar soap) and allow it to dry over your in your shower or around your tub. It dries quickly. Do not use it directly on skin if it’s not wet and your skin isn’t damp. Do not rub harshly, otherwise you can make your skin raw! (*I know it does, because I did it!) It can be rewashed many times. Do not use it around the eyes. When it starts to lose the rougher side’s texture, it’s time to replace it.
ExPeel cloth is a soft white mesh cloth for gentle facial exfoliation when skin may be more sensitive. Ultrafine fibers of unique formation literally scoop dead cells, dirt, and impurities from skin without chemicals, machines, or invasive crystals. Remove makeup, eye makeup, clean, and exfoliate facial skin in one simple step. DUOPACK delivers cleaner, healthier, smoother skin. Wet both cloth and face before using the cloth on face. If you rub too hard, you can make your skin ra.w.
DUOPACK delivers cleaner, healthier, smoother, glowing skin via a safe and sensible natural path. Cloths last for 60 to 80 treatments. For all skin and ethnic types. Country of origin USA.
It will save you money if you buy the two cloths together. You will notice that the cloth isn’t cleaning as well and that’s time to replace it.
I love these cloths and I use them interchangeably. When I want a gentle exfoliation, I use the white one. If I want a stronger exfoliation, I use the green one. I wash them both with bar soap and I hang them to dry. And they dry quickly!
These are a bargain compared to other treatments you could use.
This is the last of the hair treatment products. I will have more facial tools, cosmetics and fragrance coming.
Please note that almost everything from the Coachella Rehab and Consummate Coachella series would make a great Mother’s Day or birthday present for anyone in your life. Lots of very interesting stuff coming for Mother’s Day and some of it wound up here in these two series!!
