Daisy Ridley’s hair style this evening was inspired by Audrey Hepburn (see photo here) and how much she reminded celebrity hair stylist, Robert Vetica, of her so that he created a similar look to partner with her Oscar De La Renta couture gown. (Robert Vetica has worked with many well-known actresses including Daisy Ridley!_ Vertica created the style using Leonor Greyl products!
Inspired by a photo of Audrey Hepburn with a very beautiful fine eyeliner, nude face and very sleek, tight hairstyle. Vetica created a top bun with a flair fanning out also giving it a very Asian inspired look.
“
–I started by blow drying the hair using Leonor Greyl Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice to create texture and shine.–Then I took two sections, the top and sides and by pulling the top section to the crown and combing the two sides and back up to meet the top, arranged a tight ponytail.
–Spraying with a nice amount of Leonor Greyl Volumforme hairspray
–I continued to make a very tight top knot and then finished off the sides and the back with a fine-tooth comb using the Leonor Greyl Gel a l’hibiscus to give shine and hold.
–Lastly, I took the top ponytail and twisted it into a very tight knot leaving the ends lose to get the appearance of a fan like flare. The finished look combines the style of Audrey Hepburn and Commes De Garçons’ Asian influence.”
Comments by Robert Vetica!
I love the look. I love the similarities and the differences between Daisy and Audrey Hepburn!
