It’s very hard to find a truly unique gift for someone or even yourself. It’s hard because “truly unique” things are not easy to find. When you do find them, it’s often something you don’t share with just anyone. But I am taking the time to share this “special find” with you. I found an amazing hair product that can rock your world.

We all use shampoo on our hair. Sometimes shampoos do great things like gently cleanse your hair and make it easy to manage. Some shampoos smell amazing – typically they smell fruity like banana or coconut or maybe it smells like flowers. Often those scents are artificial and merely chemicals that don’t add the genuine scent of the fruit or flowers to the shampoo because it’s too expensive. What you won’t find is a shampoo that will give you great hair and have an authentic scent at the same time.

One of the best ways to wear fragrance is to wear it in your hair. As people hug you, they catch a whiff of the scent and it’s never overpowering if it’s in your hair- unless the scent is carried by hair spray. Unfortunately for most scents, they are alcohol based and not only do they evaporate but if you use them in your hair, they will dry your hair out too. Using a hair dryer will cause the scent to evaporate even faster if you put it on before you dry your hair. If you apply fragrance after your hair is dry, the alcohol will dry your hair out even more. Fragrance in the hair sounds good but it’s pie in the sky

I was introduced to the creator of this hair treatment meets fragrance via a close friend who knew that I would be ‘over the moon’ about the concept for this hair care line. I have talked to the creator of a new hair product line. His first product- a shampoo- is innovative, to say the least. It’s both shampoo that you can use on your hair and it’s a densely rich, rose fragrance all rolled into one simple product. Find it hard to believe? Maybe.. honestly, this is a dream come true!

This brand new product is amazing. When opening it up, you can smell the rose a bit. Sniff the bottle and it smells beautiful. Get into the shower and start to use this low-sudsing hair cleanser and the hot water will release the scent not only into your hair but fill your bathroom up with this most luxurious of scents.

4 tons of roses = 1 600 000 rose blossoms = 1 kg of rose oil. No wonder rose oil is one of the most expensive essences, and a kilo of golden liquid will fetch around $7 ooo.

The interesting thing about this shampoo is that it’s as much “an experience” as a product. You will be intoxicated the first time you use it. You will have to measure out small amounts to work into your already soaking wet hair. The bottle is glass so be very careful when grasping it. I have used it 3-4 times and found that making sure my hair is really very very wet and working it into the scalp first and then massaging the shampoo down the hair shaft is the best way to use it. It will make your hair and your scalp take notice. Your “nose” will notice that your skin feels different after having the shampoo running down your back or your face. It’s a gorgeous experience. The second time you use the shampoo, it’s so much better and richer because you know what to expect. Breathe deep, make sure you have some time in the shower to do that. It will relax you and you will find yourself with a different perspective after you get out of the shower.
Also, you will note that your hair has the scent of roses. You might not smell it immediately but others who give you a hug will notice. It’s not overwhelming. It’s seductive. It’s exquisite sensual.
As you can tell I love this product. It’s sensuous and tactile. It brings a luxury that you don’t find in hair products. Worth buying and definitely worth gifting the mother(s) in your life. It’s so much better than flowers because these roses will not die. They are bottled for as long as you have shampoo!

1. How often should I wash my hair with the Rose 1845 by Lazarus Shampoo Concentrate?
To experience the full benefits of Rose 1845, Lazarus recommends shampooing your hair every other day, using a small amount of concentrate for each wash. If you wash your hair daily, you may wish to shampoo only once.
2. I don’t get a big lather.
Rose 1845 by Lazarus is a gentle, low-sudsing concentrate made from natural alfalfa derivatives. Most shampoos use sulfates, which produce a lather, but over time damage hair. If you wash your hair every two or three days, we recommend two washings: The first will produce a very low lather; the second shampoo will lather more.
3. How many shampoos can I expect from this bottle?
There are approximately 50 washes in each bottle. Rose 1845 by Lazarus Shampoo Concentrate is equivalent to an 8-ounce bottle of regular shampoo. Only a small application is necessary, such as the size of a quarter. Pour into hand, rub palms together, then apply to wet scalp and massage in a gentle circular motion.
4. How will this shampoo perform on fine and naturally oily hair?
Rose 1845 Shampoo Concentrate has been carefully formulated for all types of hair. Our Shampoo Concentrate cleans oily scalps without adding additional oil and even the finest of hair won’t be left heavy or limp.
5. Where are the products made?
To ensure the highest quality of this artisanal shampoo, small batches are lovingly produced, bottled, and packaged domestically.
