The premiere of THE LAYOVER was the other night in Hollywood. The after-party for the premiere looks so much fun with great sips, amazing guests and fun things like a photo booth!
Celebrities, filmmakers and other VIP’s crowded the red carpet and post premiere party for actor/director William H. Macy’s THE LAYOVER, hosted by Foster Grant Sunglasses, DirecTV, Svedka Vodka and the Highlight Room at the Dream Hotel Hollywood.

About the film:
When their plane is rerouted due to a hurricane warning, two single best friends (Alexandra Daddario, Kate Upton) find themselves competing for the same guy (Matt Barr) during an extended layover in St. Louis.

Overheard:
—With Macy and wife Felicity Huffman BOTH nominated for Emmy Awards, Macy was asked if he and Huffman ever felt competitive with one another. He replied they are super cooperative and are totally supportive of each other. “I married very well,” he said.
—Kate Upton related that the cast was friendly off-set as well as on and that she and Matt Jones and Alexandra went to a bar where dancing on tables took place, fueled by ample supplies of tequila.
—Alexandra Daddario revealed that Macy was a sort of father figure on the set, on one late night shoot, they snuck wine on the set to get them through the night.
—Who’s behind those Foster Grants?
At this great party, almost everyone. Stylists emerged from the Foster Grant studio with a walk-around sunglass bar pulling selections from men’s and women’s collections to try on and keep their favorites.

–The Highlight Room passed out the wagyu sliders, hamachi crudo, avocado toast, and various pizzas.
–Guests could make their own layover adventure with a green-screened back full-size hot air balloon basket.
