“We hoped to tell a story of an Asian American family that was destroyed by an illness they didn’t understand. Asian Americans are three times less likely to seek help. I hope that through this piece more minority communities will openly talk about mental health issues and seek help. We’re here to embrace them and remind them that they don’t have to fight through it alone.
Without Esther Moon and Cecila Choi, none of this would have been possible and I’m so grateful for their support, allowing this story to come alive.”
Arnold Chun is represented by Media Artist Group and Managed by Thruline Entertainment.
