The 8th Annual CGFGC Charity Ball + Swag Bag Party will be held on Wednesday, November 8 from 7:00pm-12 am at The Study Hollywood. Don’t miss this GREAT event that is so much fun. You get far more than the value of the $25 donation. You will have an amazing night!
If you can’t go, you could always email Click Communications and make a donation which would help people in need. This is the time of year for gratitude and giving back. You are being asked to give a relatively nominal amount for an evening of fun.
All proceeds from the event will benefit San Fernando Valley LGBTQ Community Center.
The San Fernando Valley LGBTQ Community Center was established in November 2008 as a response to the passing of California’s Proposition 8, ballot title: “Eliminates Rights of Same-Sex Couples to Marry. Initiative Constitutional Amendment”. These organizations founded a formal alliance that resulted in coordinated efforts to increase support of LGBT people and issues and the resending of Proposition 8. Since then, SFV LGBT has grown to invest in the community around them especially among the Latino population.
Every good event needs entertainment, and this year is no exception.

About The Study Hollywood:
The Study Hollywood, established in 2010 by Boulevard Nightlife Group (Chinese Theatre and Adults Only), is located at the heart of Hollywood Boulevard. The building was constructed and tastefully designed in 1921 by well-known architects Walker and Eiser during the “golden age of cinema” when Hollywood was flourishing. Indeed, the historical significance of the venue attributes greatly to the success of The Study. The lounge’s classy and comfortable interior features over 10,000 books, 50 typewriters, and a well-curated drink menu. It’s unique design attracts a melting pot of urbanities and cultures. About CGFGC:
CGFGC (Canned Goods for Good Charity) formed in 2009 as an attempt to bring together several small, disparate pieces and make a greater whole. The idea is that while one canned good feeds one person, a box of canned goods can feed hundreds. Taking promotional items: Blu-rays, video games, DVDs and more to make gift bags, friends were asked to get dressed to the nines, come out and have a drink, get a gift bag, and make a donation that benefitted those in need.
