Filmmaker Vivienne De Courcy’s “DARE TO BE WILD” Film Debuts 1/9/2018 On-Demand!

There are many, many films to see at this time of year. Given the Golden Globes is in January- kicking off a rocking season of the films nominated for SAG Awards, DGA Awards, Critic’s Choice, PGA, WGA, Oscars and so many more, one has to wonder how to get the attention of the film community as well as consumers like you and me when launching a film in early January 2018.

It often takes more than a story, more than girl meets boy in a tweaked tale of adventure vs adversity- yet if you mix all those elements along with a fabulous score, DARE TO BE WILD is a film that will not only capture your attention, but also your heart as it plays out against both an Ethiopian and English backdrop to achieve something that had NEVER been done before. Oh yes, did I mention it involves the English Royal Family and the Chelsea Garden Show?

SYNOPSIS 
Dare to be Wild is a romantic adventure story, inspired by real-life Mary Reynolds, a young landscape designer determined to preserve wild nature. Betrayed in the cutthroat world of Dublin celebrity society, Mary has little hope and no prospects-but she has one earth-changing idea! But how does a penniless unknown dare compete in the “Olympics of Gardening” where Prince Charles is a rival?

This is one movie I cannot wait to see. It hits all the right chords with me – and considering that it’s debut is a month before Valentine’s Day, it’s a movie for the girls to share, it’s also a movie for couples as well!
