Pies from Winston Pies!
Is Easter complete without something a little sweet to balance out your brunch? Stop by LA’s own classic pie shop, Winston Pies, to pick up a slice, a hand pie, a Pie Bite, or even a full sized pie to add to your brunch table! The pie shop will be offering two pies just for the season: Coconut Macaron (which also happens to be kosher friendly for Passover, and is gluten free, featuring a Toasted Coconut Macaron Crust with a thin layer of chocolate ganache, coconut cream filling, topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut) as well as one that is Easter epitomized. Note that the name of the pie is still being determined, we know that it will have a tart lemon fluff filling with lemon shortbread crust and chipped cream, topped with homemade pink peeps and candied lemons). Both flavors will be available in mini pie sizes starting on Friday, March 30 (while supplies last), and full sized pies can be ordered in advance by filling out an order form.
