Whole Foods 365 Opens Long Beach, CA. Store !(#3 in So. Cal.) 4/25! First 100 Customers Get Gift Cards!

Here’s the news blast on the latest edition of the Whole Foods 365 collection to open. While I might be a little redundant here, bear with me because this is a fabulous store you will want to see – and visit on a regular basis if you are in the greater South Bay to Orange County border area!
I was invited to the media tour last week and was really happy with what I saw. The store was still in the process of being put together whether it was banks of veggie bins to stocking shelves. It was definitely a work in progress yet it looked like it was almost ready to open.
Here’s my spin on this new store that I know will be one of my latest haunts.. and it’s only 1 mile from where I live! I can walk there in a pinch and it’s one of the key stores in this new shopping center with fast casual restaurants, Ulta, Nordstrom Rack, Orchard and lots more! Yes, it’s a very mixed blend but given that this area is truly a melting pot of people from all kinds of demographics, this will be a “destination” shopping center with a twist!

What I have done is take the information on the key points about this great store and using it as the framework for photos I shot at this amazing event. I will share the swag tomorrow so that you can see what I got to try.

The first Whole Foods Market 365 location in Long Beach opens Wednesday, April 25 at 9 a.m. at 3881 N. Lakewood Boulevard. This 28,000 square foot store is the eighth Whole Foods Market 365 in the country, and the third in Southern California, joining the Santa Monica and Silver Lake locations. The fourth will open soon in Upland on May 30.

Whole Foods Market 365 takes the “neighborhood grocery store” concept to the next level by focusing on value, convenience and unique retail innovations while keeping Whole Foods Market’s industry-leading quality standards. The store will offer high-quality products free of artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.

“We can’t wait to bring Whole Foods Market 365’s easy, everyday shopping experience to Long Beach for the very first time,” said Store Team Leader Moses Garcia. “Our Long Beach store will have something for everyone, whether you’re looking for great deals on fresh produce, convenient weeknight meal solutions or healthy prepared food options to take out or dine in.”

Whole Foods Market 365 Long Beach is also a convenient neighborhood dining destination full of healthy and on-trend options through the Friends of 365 program. The store will contain the first Long Beach outposts of Southern California brands Yellow Fever and Groundwork Coffee, and ample café seating is available for dining in.

Regular store hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.

Stevie Note:
Here’s the latest improvement to make checking out a breeze. It’s a computerized tagging machine. You pick out your produce and snag the SKU number on the sign. Drop it on the scale and input the sku and it will weigh the produce, calculate what the price is via the SKU and print out a label for you to put on the produce bag. This will streamline your check-out like crazy!
