LA-based El Silencio Mezcal is partnering with the Happy Hour Agency on an AMAZING immersive food & beverage installation dubbed “Tablerock” where guests can try a cocktail called “Fire in the Sky” as they enjoy the immersive experience.

Tablerock is an immersive food & beverage experience that welcomes guests into an eerie desert landscape. Once inside they realize… They are not alone. Inspired by the extraterrestrial tales spun by locals in West Texas and New Mexico, Tablerock invites its guests to ask, “what if aliens are real… and what would we drink to celebrate the arrival of our new overloads?”

“We love using El Silencio in this cocktail because the smoke in this mezcal compliments the chipotle peppers perfectly. It gives this cocktail the perfect balance of earth and shines through spice and cucumber just right.”
Ingredients:
2 oz chipotle infused Mezcal El Silencio Espadín
1 oz lime juice
1 oz lemon juice
1 oz agave
4 hard dashes Angostura bitters
2 muddled cucumbers
1 muddled orange wedge
Chili Salt foam
Method:
Muddle cucumbers and orange wedge in a cocktail shaker,
Add El Silencio Mezcal, lime juice, lemon juice, agave and angostura bitters
Shake with ice until well combined.
Pour into glass and garnish with Chili foam.

Ingredients:
100ml egg white
3tsp salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 tsp xantham gum
500ml still water
Directions
Add all ingredients to a blender and turn on till get the foam texture you like!

Cinco de Mayo at Gracias Madre (Pop-up Margarita Garden!!)
Location: Gracias Madre (8905 Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood, CA 90069)
Timing: Saturday, May 5 from 12 pm to 10 pm
Event description: Gracias Madre will be throwing their First Annual Cinco De Mayo Pop Up Party, in the adjacent outdoor lot. There will be live music, DJ’s, a Mariachi Band and of course their famous tacos, El Silencio “Smokey Purista” margaritas and cervezas!
The event will take place under a giant enclosure with multiple bars, photo booth, step and repeat, taco kitchen, security and a live music stage.
Smokey Purista Available at Gracias Madre
Ingredients:
2 oz Mezcal El Silencio Espadín
1 oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
0.5 oz Agave Nectar
2 dashes of Reagon’s Orange Bitters
1 pinch of Sea Salt
Method:
Shake vigorously and strain into a double rocks glass, rimmed with orange salt*.
Garnish with a fresh, expressed lime rind.
*Orange Salt
Ingredients:
1 oz of dried Orange Zest and
3 oz of raw can sugar
3 oz of Himalayan Salt
Mix well
