Moscow Mule’s olfactory trail hypnotizes its audience, as if it were inviting everyone to share over a glass of something.
A timeless moment, where tongues are loosened and bodies scalding hot. A twist of ginger for the sexy side, a zest of lemon for the punch!
A limitless pleasure to be consumed without moderation.

DISCLOSURE: I was given a bottle of this fragrance so that I could write this post and include a review of Moscow Mule.

Known for its antioxidant and aphrodisiac properties, ginger acts here as a vibrancy enhancer, bringing a dash of excitement to the fragrance. Just like Juliette with her blazing mane, free and uninhibited, who laughs at convention and brings a toast to life.

REVIEW:

bottle-shot

I  love this bottle. I love the presentation. Clean, modern, fresh in a way that makes it almost ideal to sit on my dresser or my desk. The scent presents an edgy yet clean sophistication that caught my attention. I love Moscow Mules and I love lime in almost any drink. (I frequently toss a lime into my drinks). Yet there’s so much more to this fragrance that captures my attention like the way a well-made Moscow Mule does. The ginger is fabulous and provides a bit of “bite” to the scent that I really like. Ginger is a favorite ingredient of mine. – whether in cooking, cocktails or fragrances.
The top notes are intoxicating right from the first inhalation. The heart notes provide depth for the next layer and evolution in the scent. I have not smelled apple essence and sandalwood together before and I love it. The Extreme Amber provides not only more depth but a bit more bite. The base notes are the new things in this scent and provide the significant longevity as the day wears on. Below I explain what each base note is and while the essence of the notes make sense, the ingredients were new to me. I love the way they really blend well together to create a safe framework and cushion that allows the build of the top and heart notes. And I love that it actually smells woody with a clever bit of zip!

Ambroxan
This is a chemical spin-off of ambergris. (Official description: Ambrox / Ambroxan: a synthetic compound created as a replacement for natural Ambergris; it has a musky-ambery odor. Source: http://www.nstperfume.com/perfume-glossary/

Ambretolide:

Ambrettolide is one of the finest musks available, this is the musk that gives Ambrette seeds their muskiness. Some people find it mild, others very powerful so most often used in small doses. Has a terrific fixative and radiant effect and also works to enhance other musks that are used with it. It is slightly fruity, very smooth and exalting. Ambrettolide is a macrocyclic musk, like most of those found in nature.

Norlimbanol:
This is one of the most unusual ingredients of this trio of base notes. It’s the bridge between the Ambroxan and the Ambretolide and the rest of the notes.
Consider it as the true base note of three.

NORLIMBANOL™ has a dry woody note in the patchouli direction”. As described by Chandler Burr: “Norlimbanol is one of the most amazing scents around, .

Bottom line: I like this scent a lot. Perfect for spring and summer and anytime you want a clean fragrance with a unique hook to it- and that’s its’ sex appeal right there.
