Catrinel Marlon & Gabrielle Caunesil Sparkle in Chopard jewels at UNICEF Summer Gala!

The inaugural Unicef Summer Gala, presented by LuisaViaRoma, a charity event to support UNICEF’s activities to protect children’s rights worldwide, which all but took over the tiny coastal town with a full-blown black-tie bash that lasted long into the early hours of the morning, complete with a live auction and performances by Ricky Martin, Rita Ora, and Sofia Carson.

“They’ve never done [a gala] in Porto Cervo… and I’d never do something that has been done before,” said Andrea Panconesi, LuisaViaRoma CEO & Founder .“We started with 400 people, then we moved to 500, and now we are at almost 600, which is unbelievable. I wanted to do something extraordinary. We are here for the children. And I want people to have fun. We are doing it for a good cause, but it’s also a glamorous evening.”

This event was produced by Stefan Santoni and Andy Boose of International Society Group who have also produced the luxe amfAR Gala in Cannes. This event in Porto Cervo was very similar to the one in Cannes. Celebrities dressed in fabulous—and often sheer— gowns partied in the villa, which had been decorated with copious amounts of flowers and was populated with tuxedoed waiters offering glasses of champagne.

Guests were served a four-course meal and auctioneer Alexander Gilkes was on-stage to whip the audience into a frenzy of bidding on a fabulous array of lots, including artworks by Francis Bacon, Pablo Picasso, RETNA, a Fiat 500 Riva, and Chopard jewelry (the latter of which was modeled by Emily Ratajkowski.)

Romanian Model Catrinel Marlon was dazzling in the following pieces


–a necklace featuring 419.24-carats of ruby briolettes and 58.13-carats of rubies.


–the matching earrings featuring 171.34-carats of ruby briolettes, 21.01-carats of round-shaped rubies, and 4.18-carats of pear-shaped rubies.
Both items from the Silk Road Collection set in 18ct white gold and aluminum.




French Model Gabrielle Caunesil shimmered in a unique diamond suite:

–a necklace with 22.77-carats of diamonds,

–matching earrings of 5.58-carats of diamonds.

–a diamond ring from the Haute Joaillerie Collection

–a diamond ring from the For You Collection.
