If you are a music fan, the Grammys are a “must watch” for performances that are unlike anything you would see at any concert date that your favorite musician(s) would be doing. These extravaganza kinds of performances that include back-up singers and dancers make the Grammys one of the great ways to see your favorites in the comfort of your own home. The best part of the pre-Grammy show is to see your favorite musicians being interviewed on the Grammy’s red carpet! While there were lots of big stars on stage, many of the nominees were in very specific categories – and those performances were hot, hot, HOT!! Etana, “the Queen of Reggae”, whose album, Reggae Forever, was nominated for the Best Reggae Album was a big hit walking the 2019 Grammy Awards red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
What made this nomination particularly special is that Etana was the first female in 21 years to be nominated for a Grammy Award in the Best Reggae Album category. The last time a female artist was nominated in the category was in 1997 when Sister Carol received the nomination. With her first “Grammy nom”, Etana was thrilled to be featured by various media outlets and to strut the red carpet alongside the biggest names in music at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

Also hot is Etana, “the Queen of Reggae”, whose album, Reggae Forever, was nominated for the Best Reggae Album. Etana was a big hit walking the 2019 Grammy Awards red carpet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Etana’s Reggae Forever album competed with Black Uhuru (As the World Turns), Ziggy Marley, (Rebellion Rises), Protoje (A Matter of Time) and Sting & Shaggy (44/876 ) which ultimately won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
“It’s an honor that Reggae Forever has been recognized by the Recording Academy with a Best Reggae Album nomination and to be amongst these talented nominated artists and award-winning artists. I’m truly delighted to have made an album that was well received with so many audiences around the world,” says Etana.
The Reggae Forever album is distributed by Tad’s Records. Reggae Forever has gained popularity both nationally and internationally.

For those who are looking at the two photos from the Grammys red carpet, Etana chose the perfect color for this outfit. The hot pink is very flattering. The styling of the jumpsuit with a train is a great style for her! She is rocking the red carpet! While she didn’t win the Grammy (so unfortunate), she does win some style kudos!
