With the Game of Thrones series finale premiere coming up on April 14– and tons of people are dying to see what episode 1 has in store for us, it’s probably time for a viewing party with friends! Even if you decide to skip the viewing party, here are 3 GOT- inspired cocktails to mix up and share , as well as a viewing party happening at Arlo SoHo hotel in NYC!
House Stark
Inspiration:
The House Stark is strong and cold with a lot of depth.
The guest should experience the same feel of a cold exhale on the finish when sipping this drink – meant to mimic the bitter cold of the North in the show.
The ‘Weirwood’ leaves are edible dehydrated pink rose petals sprinkled on top, with powdered sugar snow.
Available at EverBar at The Kimpton Hotel, LA
Ingredients:
2 oz Blackened Whiskey
3/4 oz honey
1/2 oz Fernet
1 oz whipping cream
Method:
Shake and strain into Julep Glass.
Pour over crushed ice.
Garnish:
Pink pedals with powdered sugar snow over the top.
Costume Party
Inspiration:
Much like Arya can change her face, the versatile (but blood-red) Costume Party cocktail is meant to suit fans of all houses.

Ingredients:
.5 oz. Caramel
.5 oz. beet shrub
.75 oz. Lemon
.5 oz. Clear Creek Pear brandy
1.5 oz. Avion Reposado Tequila Glassware: Coupe
Method:
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin with ice.
Shake vigorously, strain and garnish!
Garnish:
3 piece /slice pear fan, plus lemon twist used on edge then discarded
Take the Black
Inspiration:
Head to past the North to Wall, (or Los Feliz) and cheers to the Night’s Watch with the Take The Black cocktail.

Ingredients:
1 oz Hennessy Black
0.25 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
1 oz Whipsaw rye whiskey
0.25 oz Averna
Angostura bitters
Method:
Stir in mixing glass with ice, strain into a coupe.
Garnish with a cherry.
