Colada Limitada

(use honey as the binding agent on the rim of the glass).

Slice of Spiked from SpikedSeltzer
The artfully crafted cocktail, created by the mermaid-inspired, original brand of alcoholic sparkling water, is inspired by the soon-to-be-wed’s lemon and elderflower wedding cake featuring SpikedSeltzer’s new flavor Ventura Lemon.

  1. Yes, you are right about many have to work that day, but would you prefer that police, firefighters, nurses not show up for their jobs? Should the hospitals shut down for the day? And firefighters and police don’t answer emergency calls? And I know it goes down to the retail workers and those who work fast-food restaurants, gas stations and/or markets. When I was in high school and college, I welcomed those extra time days because I got paid more or I got an extra day off that I banked for special occasions. Most people wanted those days off and while it was often busier than usual, the time moved faster and I got a bonus from working it. There are many people who want/need to work holidays because they need the money.

In California, working a holiday means you get paid more (1.5 x wage – 2x wage). OR the company can pay you regular wages but give you an extra day off (good if you need extra time off).
