Small Business Saturday is all about small businesses and I am always one to participate in Small Business Saturdays because I believe in small businesses because the interaction between the local businesses and their local customers underscores how valuable it is to not just the business but the customers. I know that in my section of greater LA, it’s a big deal. And now Los Angeles is underscoring Small Business Saturday tomorrow, Nov. 30!
I highly recommend that you visit some of your favorite local businesses– whether it’s your small pharmacy, dry cleaners, clothing store, the latest cafe or sweet shop. It’s you giving back to your community.
Los Angeles Will Celebrate Small Businesses on Nov 30:
Carerra Café, Duff Cakemix and Franks Chop Shop Go Big
for Tenth Annual Small Business Saturday®
WHAT: Small Business Saturday, proudly backed by American Express, was created in 2010 as a way to help get more customers through the doors of small businesses and has grown to become a permanent fixture of the holiday shopping weekend.
Now celebrating its tenth year, even more consumers and communities like Los Angeles are coming together on Nov 30 to celebrate what makes them unique.
And when consumers are aware that 67 cents of each dollar spent at a small business stays in their local community, helping to keep Main Streets thriving, 75% said it inspires them to make shopping small an ongoing commitment (2019 Shop Small Consumer Impact Survey).
WHERE: Small businesses all around the Los Angeles/West Hollywood area ( see specifics below!)
WHEN: Saturday, November 30, 2019, from 10 AM to 5 PM
