If you are reading this, good for you! I am hoping you will share this post with your friends. It’s time to take a step back from the holiday madness (Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Ōmisoka, Boxing Day) It’s insane right now, particularly if you are trying to juggle family, work, shopping, keeping up with your usual chores not to mention other things like special family events. YIKES!
Here’s an email that I got from someone and I am excerpting it in bits and pieces because there’s a real POINT I want to make and an event I want to SHARE.
From my friend Alexa:
I’m definitely elbow deep in it at this point. Between the Secret Santa’s, family gifts, stocking stuffers, Hanukkah gifts, and holiday parties… well, I need a beer… and maybe a reality check on all of it.
And Alexa shared the information below with me and I wanted to share it with you because let’s step back and look at the reason for the season regardless of whatever philosophical or religious ideology you have.
It’s better to give than to receive, so in the spirit of the holidays Boomtown Brewery is looking to aid their local homeless population with help from the good folks of Project Paper Bag and The Hippie Kitchen.

Thanks to Alexa for being patient for me to get to this. It’s definitely a worthwhile project to help with and you walk away knowing you helped someone else!
