I did try each one and waited to see which ones I felt were right for me, I realized that depending on the season and my own body chemistry, I might be able to wear more than just one scent! Love Potion Fragrances (1-4) are all courtesy of Ode Paris.

DISCLOSURE:
I was able to try all the scents because I was sent sample vials of each numbered fragrance along with a retail size of Love Potion #1. I would not be able to discuss each fragrance without having had the sample vials. I appreciate that I was sent a full-sized bottle that allows me to really test it out. The bottles you see in this post are 110 ml/3.7 fl. oz which makes it a very generous bottle of fragrance!
LOVE POTION 1

Description:
A vibrant opening of fresh Orange Blossom, tangy Pink Pepper, and crisp Anjou Pear set the stage for a velvet heart of pure white Jasmine, and nuances of Coffee and creamy Almond add warmth to a sensual base of sweet Vanilla, Patchouli, and Cashmere Woods.
Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Orange Blossom, Anjou Pear
Heart: Jasmine, Coffee, Licorice, Bitter Almond
Base Notes: Vanilla, Patchouli, Cedarwood, Cashmere Woods
Notes: I really like Love Potion 1 because the scent is very fresh and clean. It reminds me of opening a door or window and smelling flowers in bloom and a bit of greenery and woods. It’s not overly sweet and with notes like Pink Pepper, Licorice, Coffee and Bitter Almond, the heart helps balance out the top notes that are sweeter. The base notes are more woody but with a nice note of vanilla to help balance the scent. This scent makes me feel upbeat like I want to go meet up with friends.

Exhilarating top notes of fresh Green Apple and Calabrian Bergamot reveal a dramatic heart of patchouli and rare Birch Wood, while a background of aromatic Tobacco, Oak Moss, Amber, and Musk provide a sophisticated finish.
Top Notes: Blackcurrant, Calabrian Bergamot, French Apple, Pineapple
Heart: Rose, Dry Birch Wood, Jasmine, Patchouli
Base Notes: Oak Moss, Musk, Amber, Vanilla Bean
Notes: Love Potion 2 features a lot of fruity notes off the top. Not all are sweet, but the bergamot and black currant are excellent balances for the French apple and pineapple. The roll-out of the heart notes is really smooth and almost elegant in the way the rose, dry birch wood, jasmine, and patchouli seem to blend into a well-balanced fragrance. I have not noticed the jasmine taking over yet, but then I haven’t worn this scent much either. The bottom notes of oak moss, amber and musk really balance the rose, jasmine, and patchouli. It dries down differently than you think it would. Expect surprises with Love Potion 2
Love Potion 3

A sparkling citrus blend of zesty Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange Pulp lead to a lush bouquet of Turkish Rose, delicate Mimosa and precious Ylang Ylang enveloped by an addictive base of Tonka Bean, gilded Amber, Haitian Vetiver, Bourbon Vanilla and Skin Musk.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Mandarin Orange, Orange, Grapefruit
Heart: Jasmine, Mimosa, Lychee, Turkish Rose, Ylang-Ylang
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Indonesian Patchouli, Opoponax, Bourbon Vanilla, Haitian Vetiver, White Musk
Notes: Love Potion 3 is very much up my alley. I am a huge fan of citrusy scents so the top notes really speak to me and the effervescence of the citrus blends is great and the softness of orange blossom adds in a softness that most citrus notes don’t have. Heart notes are a mix of sweet notes and the uniqueness of Lychee and Ylang-Ylang.. and this is where the sweetness of the flowers and the citrus spark start to mix.
The bottom notes act as balancing notes because of the powdery Tonka Bean, Opoponax’s incense-like aroma, the Indonesian Patchouli. Bourbon vanilla helps shift the fragrance away from a ton of sweetness but offers a layered texture with the vetiver and white musk.
This is a scent I feel is more complex.
Love Potion 4

A fresh, airy Aquatic accord and bright Bergamot evolve to an emotional heart of spicy Cardamom, Lavender, golden Saffron and White Pepper, drying down beautifully to a field of vintage cognac Leather, rare Sandalwood, Vetiver and rich Mahogany.
Top Notes: Ambrosia Apples, Bergamot, Mandarin
Heart: Lavender, Cardamom, Saffron, White Pepper
Base Notes: Tonka Bean, Moss, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Leather, Mahogany
Notes: Love Potion 4 is one that as soon as I got the aquatic accord in my nose, I knew I would love it. I am a big aquatic accord person along with a love of bergamot. This scent evolves quickly to the spicier heart of cardamom, saffron and white pepper with a touch of lavender. The lavender tends to play “hide and seek” depending on the weather and your personal chemistry. The base notes of tonka bean and sandalwood offer a bit of powdery texture. The moss and vetiver are nice green elements. Leather and mahogany provide a bit more of a masculine feel. I love this scent but I also think that for the right man that it would be a great scent that wouldn’t fade away quickly.
I would tell anyone that choosing one scent is hard. Take the chance!
